Po Sha Nu Tower is a group of remnants of Cham temples and towers of the ancient Champa Kingdom, located on Ba Nai hill, in Phu Hai ward, 1km from Phu Hai Beach Resort & Spa. This group of towers has Hoa Lai architectural style – one of the ancient art styles of Champa.
Although it is only small and medium in size, it distilled the quintessence of architectural techniques and decorative arts of the ancient Cham people to create a majestic and mysterious look. The Po Sah Inu group of temples and towers is one of the relatively intact Cham towers. Around the end of the 8th century and the beginning of the 9th century, the Cham people built this group of temples and towers for the purpose of worshiping the god Shiva – one of the Hindu gods worshiped and revered. built a number of temples with simple architecture to worship Princess Po Sha Inu. Princess Po Sha Inu (son of King Para Chanh) was a person of talent and behavior, so she was loved by contemporary Cham people.
In 1992-1995, ancient surveys at this place discovered many foundations of temples that had collapsed and been covered for hundreds of years, along with bricks and tiles and a number of artifacts inside the temples. worshiping tower dating from the 15th century. From here the tower is called Po Sah Inu. Every year in the first lunar month, at the foot of the tower, there are festivals such as Rija Nùga, Poh Mbang Yang… Cham people pray for rain and peace…
